Steve was a really professional dj. He contacted us early and kept in contact as we got closer to our wedding so everything would run smoothly. He played all the music we were hoping for and he kept all the guests up and dancing. He was a great dj and we highly recommend him for anyone looking for someone for their wedding.

From our first interaction to our last, DJ Paul was responsive, flexible, easy to understand, thorough, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to work with. I did not have a traditional playlist and he gave me his professional opinions but said "you're the boss" and was willing to play whatever I wanted. Everything went perfectly and he killed it at my wedding! The glow sticks were also a hit! I couldn't have had a better DJ experience and would hire him again in a heartbeat. DJ Paul is the ultimate professional in his craft! From the initial planning call, music selection and coordinating with the venue he was timely and detail oriented. On the day of the wedding reception he expertly managed the timeline of music for the cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting and dancing. His music selection appealed to all of the guests and it kept the dance floor hopping! DJ Paul is highly recommended for any event!

DJ Paul kept our friends and family on the dance floor the whole night! He did a great job arriving early, coordinating our ceremony audio, and honoring a family member’s birthday on the fly. He worked with us to straighten out equipment rentals and I would highly recommend working with him!

From the start Paul was easy to deal with, great communication, answered any question we had and also made great suggestions along the way which really showed his experience and knowledge of weddings. A concern we had was people not getting out on the dance floor, Paul reassured us that would not be the case, and he delivered. Not only was he able to get people on the dance floor but kept the wedding moving and on time, with introductions, speeches, and all the dances. Dj Paul was our DJ for our reception at our wedding in August. His professionalism and personal touch to everything he did far exceeded any expectations we could have hoped for during the most important day in our lives. DJ Paul set the mood for an incredibly fun and joyful wedding that was full of special moments. Through careful consultations and alignment, we were able to create a mood to introduce our guests for cocktail hour, an elegant meal, and then followed by a dance party, where every guest was on their feet. Each part of the wedding stood out on its own for an unforgettable night. One particular detail that really made DJ Paul's service excellent was his MCing. I was looking for a balance of energy to facilitate the night and provide direction for our guests while not over-delivering that energy, and Paul executed this perfectly. We’re so happy we went with DJ Paul entertainment for our wedding DJ. DJ Joe was our DJ and he was great! He kept our reception running smoothly and expertly selected great dance songs for our reception. He kept us dancing until the end of the reception!

DJ Paul was great from beginning to end. From the moment we interviewed him we knew he was the DJ for us. His expertise was noticeable through his professionalism and just all around knowledge of his work and weddings! With all the other commotion of a wedding, I knew I could 100% count on Paul to keep the wedding day moving smoothly. And once that dance floor opened up it was LIVELY until the very last minute. All my guests were up dancing from our friends even up to the grandparents! When Paul told us he knew how to keep the dance floor full and the party going he wasn't lying!! I got so many compliments afterwards about how great he was! Sister-in-law said how she wished she had him for her wedding. And my mom knows exactly who to call for my sisters future weddings! DJ Paul did an excellent job with his selection of music throughout the night. We were a very “hands-off” couple and gave him, as the professional, total authority to choose which song suggestions he would accept. We were very happy with this decision and his judgment, as our guests had wide-ranging preferences in music, which would have cleared the dance floor had he accepted certain requests. Although we had previously researched and selected a few songs for the “most-important” moments (e.g., walking down the aisle, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance), we also relied on his recommendations for select moments that we hadn’t considered (e.g., bouquet toss, garter toss, refitting process, etc.), which he had excellent recommendations for. Although our overall experience was positive, there were a few issues: 1. The weather was questionable leading up to the ceremony (expecting only a light sprinkle, if anything). Although we had a rain plan in place to move things inside, we wanted the outdoor ceremony, if possible. Upon learning this, DJ Paul informed our day-of coordinator that it was in his contract that if his equipment gets ruined from the weather, it was the bride and groom’s responsibility to replace it. As a precaution, the coordinator set him up under the overhang (and it didn’t rain, so nothing came from this), but after reviewing our contract, I was unable to locate this “policy,” and personally believe that all vendors should come prepared for potentially inclement weather, especially knowing an outdoor setup was planned. Note: this could be as simple as bringing a tent. 2. Although minor, he did miss the fade on the father/daughter dance and the song seemed to last forever (and even had some guests mention that). 3. We had one artist on our do not play list (Ed Sheeran) and one of his songs was played during the reception. A few guests that knew of this “do not play” request, were very concerned, although we tried not to let it bother us too much. Overall, we had a positive experience with DJ Paul, but as a professional DJ, I would hope these mistakes were one-offs and don’t happen to other couples in the future.

We had the absolute pleasure of hiring DJ Paul for our June 2023 wedding and cannot recommend him enough! From the moment the music started playing until the last beat dropped, Paul transformed our wedding reception into an unforgettable celebration that had everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. Paul showed nothing but patience, professionalism, and attention to detail starting with our initial consultation and continuing through the conclusion of the reception. My husband and I agree that of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, Paul was by far our favorite because he was so reliable and on top of everything. He shows genuine enthusiasm for his work, which really shone through on our wedding day. He was quick to respond to every email, call, and text leading up to the big day, and he was very thorough and attentive to details during our final meeting, assuring us we were in great hands. And he was incredibly patient and flexible with any and all changes we made throughout the process. What really sets Paul apart from DJs we've seen at other weddings is his charisma and ability to command a crowd. He effortlessly adapted music to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed, and on a Sunday night no less. Many of our guests told us later that they had planned on leaving early to get home at a decent time for work the next day, but they ended up staying through the entire reception because they were having too much fun. We cannot praise Paul enough for giving us a high-energy wedding reception with minimal stress leading up to it. His talent, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to create a high-energy atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, we wholeheartedly recommend DJ Paul for any occasion.

DJ Paul was the best!! We're so happy he was part of the vendor team for our wedding earlier this month. From the very beginning, he was so communicative, responsive, and organized, and we loved how easy he was to talk to about the type of music and vibe we wanted for our big day. He had to do multiple setups because even though our ceremony and reception were at the same venue, the ceremony site itself was a little removed from where our reception was held. But he coordinated flawlessly with our planner, officiant, and ceremony readers to make sure all the audio went off without a hitch in an outdoor tree grove. Once the dancing got started, you could tell he was good at reading the energy in the room and picking the next song accordingly to make sure people stayed energized and on the dance floor all night. We loved working with DJ Paul, and would recommend him to anyone!

Our group was more laid back but DJ Paul made sure that they were engaged from the bridal party entrance to the very end. He is very upbeat and does anything that he can to support the wedding/reception as a whole so that the big day runs smoothly! We can’t thank him enough and give him the highest recommendation.

We loved having DJ Paul for our wedding. He was thorough in making sure all of our requested songs were played and denied all of our Do-Not-Play songs. Before the wedding, we had a phone call where he made sure each song started/ended at exactly the correct time for all walks down the aisle/first dances/etc. Hid thoroughness made us feel completely at ease leading up to the day of the wedding. I officiated my first wedding on 10/21/22 and DJ Paul was significantly helpful in helping me feel prepared and talking through things ahead of the ceremony. He’s very knowledgeable and experienced. It was the first wedding I’ve been to in a while where the entire audience could hear every word during the ceremony.

Almost every single guest gave a rave review about DJ Paul! He brought 20+ uplights, party giveaways, and was cheaper than just about everyone else. We did have to step in and overrule him for his insistence on a big boom mice vs subtle lapel mic for the ceremony, but other than that he was easy to work with and did awesome job keeping the party going. Some minor nitpicky issues about fading out song requests too early, but no big deal! Would recommend to all!

I was disappointment with the service I received from DJ Joe who works with DJ Paul Entertainment. I hired a DJ specifically to ensure the songs will get played at the right time and that wasn’t the case. I was asked to provide a playlist of songs I want played at the reception but only a handful of the songs were played. Perhaps I should have requested DJ Paul himself based on the reviews.

DJ Paul was incredible. He was very kind and professional throughout the planning stages. All of our guests praised him following the wedding. He does an excellent job of reading the room/vibe & matching it. Couldn’t have been better. 10/10.

Paul was great and very easy to work with! We had direct contact with him 24/7, he was very punctual and even arrived early to the venue, and acquired songs that we requested that he didn’t have! He kept the party going and were dancing the whole time. We used the gold package that included the uplighting, which added such a beautiful tone during the reception. It also included glow sticks and glow pendants that were a hit with the kids. Would definitely recommend him to a friend for their wedding!

Unfortunately, DJ Paul wasn't available on my wedding date, so he set us up with DJ Mike. DJ Mike was fantastic helping us plan before the wedding. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable about wedding timelines. I would consider him a "character", but my now husband and I felt very confident in his DJ abilities. Unfortunately, his execution fell short. The dance floor had stretches where it was full, but too many stretches where it was sparse. Also, there were some awkward moments on the mic.

DJ Paul is an amazing DJ! My husband and I had DJ Paul for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. We gave him very open ideas for cocktail hour and dinner music and he nailed it! Months later and I specifically remember loving the music during dinner. Just the right volume. We also worked with DJ Paul to come up with ideas to ensure my mother and grandmother could hear well at the reception--they both have significant hearing loss. This is certainly hard to do as it requires announcements and speeches to be louder and music to be a little softer. We added an additional speaker and placed it right by their seat. My mom was able to fully enjoy the reception with 130 people because of this! The music for the reception was great! We had an amazing party and many guests made comments about how amazing our DJ was! You won't go wrong with DJ Paul.

DJ Paul knows what he is doing! He got my wedding guests dancing the whole night while making sure to keep us in the planning. I don’t know if he played all of my must played songs, but we all had a great time on the dance floor!

DJ Paul was such a hit at our multicultural wedding, he played all different kinds of music and was amazing in his transitions between songs. Would highly recommend for anyone especially if you plan to have a multicultural wedding!

I cannot stress enough how amazing DJ Paul was for our wedding! From our initial meeting, it was clear how much DJ Paul knows about music and weddings, how he strives to create an event that is tailored to each couple and (most importantly) how much he cares about each wedding. When we met two weeks before our wedding, Paul did an excellent job listening to our ideas, offering suggestions, and helping fill in the blanks that we wouldn't be aware of since we aren't in the wedding industry. We came to DJ Paul with a set list of certain songs we wanted, and song themes. He did an amazing job fitting in all of the songs, pulling out some song gems that fit our theme, and kept our guests happy and entertained. During the day of the event, DJ Paul immediately noticed a disconnect between the venue and all of the vendors, and he took it upon himself to solve the issues without involving me so me and my groom could truly enjoy the evening. During the event, DJ Paul did an amazing job keeping the event moving, chiming in when necessary and getting the crowd fired up, but also knowing when to let the music speak for itself. What made DJ Paul be the star of the night, was his ability to be empathetic and pivot based on the events of the night. Initially, we weren't going to do a father/daughter & mother/son dance because my father is sick and may not have been in attendance. My dad was able to make it to the event, and was able to, with very little planning or notice, reorganize the schedule of reception events, seamlessly play the song my dad wanted to dance to, find a song for the mother/son dance, and handled it with such class, allowing my dad to maintain his dignity. It's a moment I'll remember all of my life, and it's all due to DJ Paul. I highly recommend DJ Paul for you event; not only will you have someone who will provide a meaningful soundtrack for your day, but you'll get to work with a professional who genuinely cares about his couples and makes sure their day is one to remember.

Hiring DJ Paul for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! He was amazingly accommodating, despite the fact that we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID-19. He never gave us any grief about having to make the changes, and really took the pressure off! Beyond his accommodations, DJ Paul was so prepared I almost felt he was more on top of things than I was, while I was planning my own wedding! He responded to emails in minutes, guided us through a lot of the logistical details to prepare for a smooth wedding, and thoroughly reviewed our prep packages. The DJ is a make or break investment for a wedding - we have been to weddings where the entire reception is ruined by mispronounced names, lack of proper announcements for the reception events like cake cutting, and music that doesn’t get people dancing. With DJ Paul, we had no concerns about the wedding event. The day of the wedding went amazingly smoothly - DJ Paul kept the dance floor completely full with parents, young kids, and everyone in between. We gave almost no guidance for the playlist we wanted, but DJ Paul was able to play music that appealed to everyone and kept the energy up the entire event. We had even more people than we expected up and dancing - so much so that we moved the sweetheart table to accommodate everyone! Many guests commented that he was the best DJ they remembered from any wedding they had been to. Even months later, the amazing flow and music that DJ Paul provided for our wedding is still a topic of conversation in our family. Hiring DJ Paul made our postponement to our postponed wedding the best night we could have hoped for! We would choose him all over again.

The whole process was pretty easy, he'll send you a form with everything you'd need to prepare for the big day and then goes over everything with you, very thoroughly. DJ Paul was AMAZING! He knows what he's doing and you can tell he is truly passionate about what he does. Every single person at our wedding kept telling us how good he was and how much they enjoyed the music. We loved how well he communicated with us BEFORE any changes or succumbing to other people's requests. Not to mention, his pricing is totally reasonable! Thank you DJ Paul!

My husband and I were originally planning to do our own music for the wedding. However, about a month before the wedding we realized we were in way over our heads. We were able to find 2 DJ's that weren't booked for our date, and DJ Paul was the only one that guaranteed a replacement if our DJ got sick (which is incredibly important given COVID). We were able to book fairly quickly and easily, and submitted our online wedding questionnaire. DJ Paul provided many lists of most-requested songs for each portion of the wedding, which was really helpful. Our assigned DJ was Felix, and he was having trouble reading the submitted PDF questionnaire so we ended up retyping everything into a Word document (his own template) for him. This included YouTube links for every song so he would know which version to use, phonetic pronunciations of every name, and a very detailed schedule for the day. We had a Zoom meeting to go over everything as well, so we thought we were on the same page. He was patient about all of our many questions, and was so gracious about having to set up a wireless sound system in the woods for the ceremony and then having an entirely second setup for the separate cocktail hour and reception locations. The day of the wedding, though, he arrived after he was supposed to start playing without any advanced notice. He played the bridal processional song for the entire wedding party processionals. There was a flower man as well, and though he played the correct song for that processional he started playing it when the guy was halfway down the aisle. During the reception he played the wrong artist for all of our song choices, and mispronounced everyone's names - one of the groomsmen didn't even get introduced at all. For our first song he played the wrong artist so we went with it, but about halfway through he realized his mistake and starting playing the correct version - as in, he just abruptly stopped the one song and started playing the correct song. He told us that he was going to have an assistant, but he didn't bring one so there were a couple times that he left the booth unattended - like when he was in the middle of calling tables for food, so the groom had to call the next set of tables because we couldn't find Felix anywhere. There were a couple times when he was MC-ing that he clearly had no idea what was going on, so there were some really long, awkward pauses while we waited for him to figure it out. The photographer had a copy of our schedule and kept us on track because Felix was not paying attention at all. The next morning when we were cleaning up we found some cups on the ground behind the DJ booth (which was very far away from any other tables) that had been used for sangria - I don't know if it was Felix or not, but I would like to think that vendors would not be drinking alcohol while working, and more importantly I would like to think that vendors would be better than leaving trash on the ground for other people to clean up. The music selection was great though once we opened up for dancing! Overall we got what we were expecting given that we booked with someone at the last minute. I'm sure that DJ Paul has other DJs that align closer to his ratings, but Felix was not great by any means.

DJ Mike helped make my wedding a breeze! I had a difficult case of having to plan my wedding from across the country, how stressful right? Not with DJ Mike! Additionally, I had only been to maybe three weddings in my life and had no idea how to start planning my own. DJ Paul Entertainment had both the availability and price tag I was looking for. Mike quickly reached out and helped me outline the entire schedule for the day of. I was taken back by the amount of experience and recommendations he willing shared. Mike and I developed a friendship over just a few phone calls, building the trust every bride needs on their wedding day!

DJ Paul was absolutely INCREDIBLE, and I would recommend him to any and all of our friends and loved ones. He isn't your normal DJ who plays the same 20 wedding songs (unless you want him to be!). He skillfully mixed a custom playlist that had everyone dancing from NO JOKE beginning to end, which ranged from oldies to new hits as well as hip hop, r&b, punk, pop, rock, latino, dance, and EDM. We had a very diverse group of wedding guests - different ethnicities from all over the country and a wide range of age groups - who were all impressed with Paul. He was able to play all of our must haves in addition to taking requests from our guests and even gave us glowsticks for when we were ready to turn up! He was very professional, responsive and flexible while caring about every detail of our big day. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect outcome on such an important portion of our wedding. Paul was very detailed in the wedding prep, which made my husband and I very happy. He asked about everything we wanted and didn’t want and was specific in detail. The day of our wedding, multiple songs on my do not play list were played. He argued with me in front of my guests when I confronted him to turn off the unwanted music. There were quite a few songs he did not play that we wanted to play. The foam glow sticks that were in our package were not given to our guests or even presented. However, once Paul saw that I was upset about what had happened, he made sure I stayed on the dance floor and even went past the event time to make sure I enjoyed myself.

I had a last minute need for a DJ only two months out from our wedding date. DJ Paul answered immediately after my inquiry and we had the contract signed in a matter of days. We had DJ Mike for the event itself, and he was incredibly responsive and helped us plan the schedule, the floor layout, everything. He was so generous with his expertise to make sure our plan was in place weeks ahead of time and could make all our lives easier. The day of went off without a hitch and all our guests had a great time on the dance floor. I would recommend DJ Paul Entertainment to any couple!

As the father of the bride, I asked Paul if I could pull off a surprise for my daughter, which involved getting onto the wedding agenda and playing a song on guitar at the start of the father-daughter dance ahead of and then concurrent with our dance song. I contacted Paul in advance and we were able to work on the specifics and everything went off perfectly. He let me plug in my guitar to his mixer and turned our dance song on just as we had rehearsed it. Prior to the actual performance, he was kind enough to ask me if I had any requests for him to play during the evening, which I appreciated, but respectfully declined in deference to the bride and groom who already had worked painstakingly hard to create a set list for all their guests.

Paul was truly the best part of our wedding. We had compliments all night and even afterwards about how incredible his music choices were. I knew within moments of speaking to him he would be the perfect fit. Not only did he make the wedding a blast, but he was immensely helpful, supportive, friendly, communicative and flexible throughout the whole planning process. He had many hour long calls with my husband planning. He worked to create the exact musical soundtrack we envisioned and our wedding would not have been complete without him. He even worked to pull off a surprise musical performance with from my dad. We can’t thank you enough Paul!

Paul did a FANTASTIC job DJ-ing our wedding!! Finding a good DJ was one of my top priorities while planning, as they make a huge difference to the experience of guests and the way the entire evening will flow. I did a ton of research and read so many reviews of various people and within 5 minutes of speaking with Paul on the phone I KNEW he was who I wanted. He was extremely responsive and thorough in ensuring every detail was exactly as I wanted it. I decided to leave most of the dancing music up to him (I had only had a handle of songs on the do not play list) and he did not disappoint. We were all dancing until the very end and had an absolute BLAST. There were so many guests who commented on how amazing he was, asking me how I was able to find someone so good. There were also many people who I never in a million years expected to be on the dance floor who had the time of their lives dancing, and I credit that to Paul. He truly evaluates the room and energy with different songs and chooses the next songs based on that. It was not a generic DJ with just a list of popular songs to play - Paul truly plays to the crowd and THAT is what makes him so great!!! We cannot thank him enough for all the hard work to make our day absolutely perfect! THANK YOU

Leading up to the big day he was extremely organized, spent a generous amount of time going through every detail with us to ensure the big day went smoothly and exactly how we envisioned. He asked us about details and technical aspects that we had not even thought of, which demonstrates his experience in the business. DJ Paul did our sound and music for the ceremony, which went GREAT.  We were always confident that he would bring the party during our reception, and he did not disappoint! Working with Paul was fantastic. He was very professional and thorough. He worked hard to make sure that he had everything right. Unfortunately it began pouring rain during my ceremony, and his equipment got wet, but he pushed through the evening and made everything run very smoothly. As the bride, I really didn't realize what a struggle he'd been through till a couple people mentioned they felt sorry that he had to wipe down al his equipment. That was quite admirable. I am grateful for all his hard work and glad that he worked so hard to make our day phenomenal. My only gripe is that the lead-up process was technologically a bit cumbersome with the forms and everything. It might be helpful if he found some other format for submitting all of our information. But in the end, my wedding was fantastic, and that's what matters.

This DJ made sure everything happened perfectly at my daughter's wedding. They were also our MC and the timing of their announcements was perfect. Because of this vendor, my daughter experienced a beautiful and memorable wedding & reception that she'll remember for the rest of her life.
